Califun is born
After serving 3 years as USA travel specialist for Comptoir des Voyages (owned by French travel group: “Voyageurs du Monde”), Benoit Cerceau, then 23 years old, leaves his native France to pursue his dream and moves to Redondo Beach, California.

The OnSpot concept
The OnSpot concept came up during a business conversation between Benoit and his brother Jérémy during his visit to Los Angeles.
